Program Information
Apply once and have the opportunity to win up to three scholarships. When you apply for a scholarship with Saratoga Federal you will also have a chance to earn a scholarship through the credit union and through the New York Credit Union Association at the state and regional levels. Scholarships may range from $500 to $1,500 and may be used at a two or four-year accredited educational institution, trade school or vocational school.
What you will need:

Scholarship Applciation: The application must be completed and signed by both the applicant and a parent/guardian.

Verfication Code: You can obtain this code by calling the credit union at 518.583.2323. The application will ask for this code.

Essay: Don't forget to complete the essay question in the application.

High School Transcript: Save a digital copy to upload in the Scholarship Portal.

All information must be uploaded to the Scholarship Portal by the application deadline. If you are unable to submit your application online, please bring your completed application and supporting documents to Saratoga Federal and we will submit them on your behalf.

Eligibility
Applicants MUST be:

Member of Saratoga Federal
Not a member, open an account with as little as $5.00
Live, work, worship or attend school in Fulton, Montgomery, Saratoga, Warren or Washington county, New York, you can open an account.

College-bound high school senior at the time of application

Attending a two or four-year accredited educational institution for the first time in the Fall of 2026
